Myers Olympic Open Water Swim Trials Comes to Miramar Lakes in Fort Myers: October 20th through the 21st Olympic Open Water Swim Trials Comes to Miramar Lakes in Fort Myers: October 20th 21st The excitement of the Olympic Trials arrives to Fort Myers this month. The USA Swimming Open Water World Championship Trials will be held Oct. 20-21, 2007, at Miramar Lakes Beach and Golf Club in Fort Myers. The women's competition will begin on Saturday (Oct 20th) at 9:00am and the men's competition will be on Sunday (Oct 21st) at 9:00am. A field of the best open water swimmers from around the country will be competing for a slot to represent the USA Open Water Swim Team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
